There is a large collection of Christian art of Christian art dating from the 16th century. The artifacts placed in the museums date back to the time when the Portuguese ruled Goa unilaterally and were established by a joint association of the Goa and Portuguese Association and the Indian National Trust of Art and Cultural Heritage. The Museum of Christian Art is spread over an area of 2000 square feet and houses more than 150 artifacts that showcase the art and heritage of Goa.
