The Haldia Marine drive is a beautiful 6 km road stretch from Coast Guard Jetty to 3rd oil jetty point. The road is lined with palm trees and every now an then a ship can be seen anchored on shore. The place has emerged as a commercial hub of West Bengal. At present, the port handles an annual cargo of around 21 million tonnes that is almost double of Kolkata Port.
