Madhubani is a city municipality and headquarter of Madhubani district. Madhubani is situated in the state of Bihar. In Madhubani there are many palaces for tourist Nagar Fort, Bhawanipur, Uchaitha and etc. Nagar fort is constructed by the Maharaja Shri Rameshwar Singh, the nagar fort is famously known as the Naulakaha palace. The Nagar fort was destroyed owing to the severe earthquake in the year 1934, since then this once splendid structure which used to be the residence of the royal family now just stands there like a Kandahar.
