About Houses of Goa: Museum, Alto-Torda, Goa

The Houses of Goa Museum is built as a traffic island in Torda, Salvador-do-Mundo Bardez Goa. A beautiful house museum designed by architect Gerard da Cunha is an attempt to preserve the beauty of the history, culture and traditional Goa houses and the Indo-Portuguese architecture. Inside the museum are photographs, plans and some of the iconic houses of Goa and fixtures of many artists from the beginning.

• Dabolim International Airport is distance by 30 km from Panaji.Local transport services are available from Panjim to Museum.
• Tivim Konkan Railway station is at a distance of 9 km from Mapusa city and Karmali Konkan Railway station is at a diatance of 10 km from Panjim city.One should make use of local transport and proceed.
• All transport mode available in the cities are local Buses, Taxi, Auto-Rickshaw, Motorcycle taxis.
