Polo Park is an interesting little botanical garden a top a ridge overlooking the town, Arunachal Pradesh. This major attraction has contributed a lot to Itanagar and it is basically a botanically garden of the state. Behind and to one side of the showroom, is the workshop where cane is trimmed, cut and woven by tribal artisans with great skills. Pachin River: This rivulet providing a fine fishing spot passes by Naharlagun. 18 kms from Naharlagun and near Banderdewa police check post. Providing glimpses of uncommon Himalayan fauna. To the delight of visitors, there is a mini zoo at the park housing reptiles and animal species including rabbits, guinea pigs and snakes. At present, the park is managed by the government.
