About Naval Aviation Museum Vasco da Gama
The Naval Aviation Museum is a military museum and it was founded 12 October 1998. It is the only Naval aviation museum in all of Asia. Here you can see the number of aircraft that were used by the Indian Navy throughout its history. It has two sections to the museum – the outdoor exhibit and indoor gallery. An outdoor exhibition shows a decommissioned aircraft serving with the Navy. The interior of the museum is designed to look inside the naval aircraft carrier, INS Viraat and has displayed a comprehensive granite plaque offering tribute to naval equipment, major battles, a simulation room and martyrs.

Entry fee: Charges Rs 20 for entry and photography is allowed.
Open hours: The museum is open on all days except Monday from ten in the morning to five in the evening.
