About Goa Chitra Museum
The Goa Chitra museum is one of the finest museums in Goa by the Archeological Survey of India. This is amongst a handful of museums of Goa consolidate artifacts related traditional farming equipment. Apart from traditional farming equipment, the museum showcases coconut farming tools, milk churning tools, traditional hand-woven baskets and several other implements that are not in use today. The Goa Chitra museum collaborates with scholars and educational institutions, who do more research on the cultivation of ancient Goa and traditional farming techniques.
