Laxmi Villas Palace is one of the aristocratical structures in India and was the own residence of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekawd. It’s Known to be the biggest private dwelling of the size proportionate to multiple times of the Buckingham Palace, this wonderful castle is an unquestionable requirement visit when in Vadodara. The Laxmi Vilas Palace was built in 1890 and took nearly twelve years to complete. Its spread out 700 acres, it is still home to the royal family of Vadodara, the Gaekwads. It is built in the Indo-Saracenic style which is a hybrid of the Hindu, Gothic and Mughal architectural forms with the presence of domes, minarets and arches.
