History of Sunabeda Wildlife Sanctuary

Sunabeda Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Nuapada District of Orissa and this Wildlife Sanctuary was built as Sanctuary in the year 1983 with total geographical area of 600 sq. KM. Mostly dry deciduous forests with enchanting hill ranges, the heart-throbbing cliffs, extensive plateau, scattered grasslands. Here present various types of animals like Tigers, Leopards, Sambar, Sloth Bear, Hill Myna, Pea Fowl, Barking Deer, and Chital.
