History of Chilka wild Sanctuary

Chilka Wildlife Sanctuary As it is popularly called, about five thousand years ago, there was a discussion about the construction of Chilka Lake in rocky, coastal lamps in southern Orissa. The huge sea submerged first made an open bay on which a marine trade post was established. For many years, the flow of sandy sea shore continuously and continuously enfolding one large lagoon between the sea aside on one side and the hills and rivers on the other.
