Day 7 : SIDDHARTHA NAGAR TO AYODHYA (180KMS/6HRS)

As we bid farewell to the serene landscapes of Siddharthnagar, Nepal, our journey takes an exciting turn. Our destination: the sacred city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Sunauli border serves as our gateway from Nepal to India. This bustling crossing point connects Bhairahawa in Nepal to Gorakhpur in India. As we approach the border, the anticipation grows. The open border system, maintained by both countries, ensures a seamless transition.

Our journey continues through the heart of Uttar Pradesh. The road winds past villages, fields, and towns. As we approach Ayodhya, the city’s ancient temples and ghats beckon us.

Day 8 : AYODHYA

Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, resonates with devotion and legend. We’ll explore revered temples like the Ram Janmabhoomi, where Lord Rama was born, and the Hanuman Garhi. The Sarayu River flows gently, inviting us to its ghats for reflection and prayer. Our stay in Ayodhya will be a blend of spirituality, history, and tranquility.

As the sun sets over Ayodhya, we’ll immerse ourselves in its timeless aura, knowing that this sacred city marks the culmination of our remarkable road trip.

Day 9 : AYODHYA TO HOME

On the final day of our remarkable road trip, as the sun casts its golden glow over the ancient city of Ayodhya, we prepare to bid adieu to the sacred land that has left an indelible mark on our hearts. Our bags are packed, and our hearts are heavy with memories—both tangible and intangible. Our car revs up, ready to retrace the path we’ve traveled. The road stretches ahead, winding through fields, villages, and memories. The drive to our respective homes awaits. We’ll share stories and laugh at inside jokes. Our road trip concludes, but its impact will linger. We’ve witnessed the confluence of history, spirituality, and adventure. As we reach our homes, we’ll unpack our bags, but the intangible baggage—the laughter, the awe, the shared silences—will stay with us.

And so, with gratitude and a touch of nostalgia, we close this chapter. Our road trip ends, but the journey of the soul continues
