About Budhanganga River

The river Budhanganga is very old. It is also known as Balanga River which rises in the hills of Similipal. This river flows in Odisha state through Mayurbhanj and Balasore district. There is also a Ghat near the Buddha Ganges River which is called the Buddhaghanga house. This Ghat is a traditional one. Here people of the village come and take a bath. The people here collect water for their live hood. The length of the river is about 170 kms and it includes water conservation areas of 4000 square kilometers.
