Lord Krishna with his magnificent tales attracts various tourist to take part in this festivals of Odisha. The Dhanu Yatra of Orissa is based on the story of Krishna, who visited the spotlight to visit Mathura which at that time witnessed the inauguration of ‘Bow’ festival organized by the then King Katha of Mathura. The Dhanu means Bow. This festival is held in the Sambalpur District.
