Koraigad fort is about 35kms away from Lonavla. One of the lesser popular forts till recently, it has been in focus because it offers a view of the Sahara Amby Valley to wannabes. Thankfully not many of this variety have the stamina or inclination to clamber up. So this fort is actually a mini mountain range with walls and cannons set up all along the range. At the summit, it stretches for about 1 km from one end to the other, rocky in some places, green in others and complete with a few ponds in between.

Sai Mandir at Shirgaon

Shirgaon is popularly know as Prati-Shirdi among Sai devotees. Shirgaon is situated off old Bombay-Pune highway at Somatane Phata.

Do not swim in the plunge pool — depth and underwater currents are unpredictable. Rocks near waterfalls are extremely slippery. Avoid visiting during heavy rainfall. Keep a safe distance from the falling water.
