During low tides, a walk on the silky sands of the beach would leave you ecstatic. Casurina plantation near the sea-shore is another place not to be missed.

Fort Moti Daman
Rising out of a moat, Moti Daman Fort is designed in a polygonal shape with projections at regular intervals of about 500 feet. The fort is an architectural masterpiece, where every thing has been carefully planned to make the fort absolutely impregnable. Provided with loop holes, the parapet exceeding the fortifications is lacking merlons. The terraces over the fortresses are connected to the inner ground surface by open staircases.

Fort Nani Daman
Covering an area of 12,250 sq meters, Nani Daman Fort is a small one comprised of high stone walls. ‘Our Lady of the Sea’, an impressive church, lies within this fort. The two gateways and three bastions characterize this marvelous fort. Facing the river, a huge gateway along with a giant statue of St. Jerome is the prominent part of Nani Daman. Besides the fort, some other marvelous sites located nearby worth-seeing are Gandhi Park, Nani Daman Jetty and Fishing Jetty.
