Many waterfalls are located within forest areas and have been part of local folklore and traditions for generations.
Things to do at Maramala Waterfall
Photograph the cascading water from various viewpoints, take a refreshing dip in natural pools (where permitted and safe), have a picnic in the surrounding forest area, trek to the base or top of the falls (depending on accessibility), spot local wildlife and butterflies in the surrounding forest, enjoy the cool mist and natural atmosphere, and visit nearby viewpoints for a broader perspective.
