Sathodi Falls in Karnataka is about 32 kms form Yellapur close to Sirsi in Uttar Kananda It further joins the backwaters of Kodasalli dam that is built over the Kali River. This is popularly called as the Mini Niagara forms a part of the Ganeshgudi forest range. other places of interest are Magod, Ganesh Gudi, Yellapur. This falls is about 500kms from Bangalore.The fall is situated in the middle of dense forests and a part of the road leading to the fall is an all-weather road but a portion, nearly one-third the distance, is not motorable during rains

Magod falls located at a distance of around 20 km from Yellapura is the Magod falls, where the Bedti river cascades from
a height of 650 ft into a rocky abyss. En route to Ankola from Yellapura, a deviation to the left after around 5 km will lead
you to the falls.

Best time to visit Kodasalli Dam

Post-monsoon season (October to February) is the best time to visit — the reservoir is full and the surrounding landscape is lush and green. Summer (March to May) sees reduced water levels. The dam is most spectacular during the monsoon when water is being released through the gates.
