Seasons to Be Cautious About Summer (June to August/September): Hot, humid, frequent rain, and possible typhoons. Not ideal for outdoor sightseeing. Early Autumn / September: Still some residual summer heat and rainfall; less ideal than later autumn months. Practical Notes Winter (December to February) is mild compared to northern China and can still be comfortable for visiting.
