The Mahant Ghasi Memorial Museum houses an impressive amalgamation of tribal artifacts, coins, inscriptions and other anthropological items along with natural history. Named after Mahant Ghasi, this museum is considered to be one of the most popular tourist destinations of Raipur. Situated in a serene environment, the museum is surrounded by beautiful gardens as well as life-size sculptures. Preserving 5000 year old swords, guns, sculptures and artifacts, the museum was opened to public view in the year 1875 which is now a double storeyed building. After this you can go to the cafe in Raipur for a quick trekking.
