The cosmopolitan Club Golf Course is situated at mount road, Chennai. The course was introduced during the year 1873. It is an eighteen hole PAR 72 course. It was redesigned by Peter Thomson in the year 1988. .It is open round the year for golfers. Spread across an area of 75 acres the fairways feature a variety of trees. The total distance for ladies is 5,863 yards and that for men is 6,859 yards.The course has well elevated greens having great slopes to improve on the skill needed to make the PAR. The fairways are mostly a blend of greenery and during the summer mostly brown having lack of water. |

The golf course of the Madras Cosmopolitan Golf Club was built in 1873 and offers year round golfing to the people of Southern India. The course was redesigned by Peter Thomson. It is an eighteen hole, PAR 72 course. Total distance for the ladies is 5,863 yards while the total for the men is 6,859 yards. The best season to play the course is in February. The course is spread over a 75 acre area and features a variety of trees along the fairways. The first nine holes are fairly tight but the second nine are more open. |
