In 1508 Guru Nanak Dev Ji has touched the land of Sri Jagannath Puri, Odisha with his holy feet. Guru Ji blessed the people of Puri and their lives for good and with happiness and prosperity. The king of Puri donated several acres of land to Guru Ji, But Guru Ji advised him to make Dharamshala. So that people coming from different parts of the country can stay and chant that name of the Almighty. But no Sikh temple was built in Puri after 500 years. With the blessing of Guru Ji and help from Sangat, Baba Ji purchased a plot of land. After one year Gurudwara Aarti Sahib was built here. The view of this Gurudwara is beautiful. The Langer of Guru continue 24 hours. |
