International Salt Art Festival is a remarkable cultural program organized by the Orissa Tourism Department. Held at the Chandrabhaga Beach, 3 km away from Konark, the Sand Art festival is an event for people in love with sand creations. It is one of the events that highlight the opportunities of Orissa and its wonderful tourism. The sand festival celebrates sand sculptures produced by skillful sand artists. Not only the traditional sand sculptures, get ready for all kinds of exhibitions.

    The international sand festival was started in 2015 on Chandrabhaga beach near by Konark. It was a part of the Konark Dance Festival that is organized during the same time. The 2nd edition is to held on December 1-5, 2017.

One of the best tourist attraction in Odisha. It was built in 1278 CE by a former Ganga king Narasimha Dev I. Sun Temple is the concept of the whole temple in the form of a chariot. The temple is made of Khondalite rocks, and is built in the traditional style of Kalinga architecture.
    • Nine Planet Shrine: The Nine Planet Shrine temple is located outside of Sun temple. Taking the sitting figures of the sun and the remaining planets of the moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu is the main part of this small temple. These nine planets are represented Navagrahas. Also Knows as Navagrahas Temple.
