It is the see of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Archdiocese and is situated at Satya Nagar,Bhubaneswar. This church is mix of different architectural traditions. Church building is surrounded by Palm trees and long tower is built before the entrance of the church which gives it a wonderful view from the front. |

History of St. vincent pro cathedral church:That was the time when Odisha’s new capital from cuttack to Bhubaneswar was formed and for religious purposes, the Orissa government had given land free on lease basis for a long time in 1958 and thus started the construction of the Church and community in this new capital. Father V. Urbaneja, CM the person who had initiated from the beginning, with the help and guidance of the then Chief Architect of Orissa Government Mr. Julius Vaz. God's temple was ready and would be later on erected into the Pro-Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar. And finally inaugurated on December 24, 1968 |
