This dance form is generally performed in Binka, Sonepur of Subarnapur district and apart from that in some part of Ganjam district. In Berhampur the goddess Budhi Thakurani\u2019s idol taken out to her temporary abode at Desibehera Street in the month of March\u2013April which is known as Thakurani Yatra Festival. In this yatra festival<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Baagh naach especially performed by professional dancers, who undergo tremendous training routines, in order to possess the unique skills, to display the dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Baagh naach male dancers paints there bare body with yellow and black straps and they also attach a tail in their back. They completely dressed and makeup to express themselves as tiger this is the reason this folk dance is known as Baagh Naach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a drummer and a bell player with dancers who provides music to them. Dance move involves mostly acrobatics movements, every steps of the dance are fast and vigorous and hence it demands enthusiasm and high energy level in the dancer. You can easily find regular buses from major district of Odisha which include Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balangir, Phulbani, Puri, Rourkela, Sambalpur etc. There are buses which also come from Kolkata (W.B), Raipur, Ranchi, and Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Railways \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>Brahmapur railway station (BAM) is well connected to other major railway stations and you can easily find regular trains to reach here from other district of Odisha and as well as from other states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other Ways \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>Berhampur is well connected with National highways via NH-16 (Chennai\u2013Kolkata), NH-59 (Gopalpur\u2013Naupada) and NH-59 (Gopalpur\u2013Raipur). This temple is dedicated twin goddess sister Tara &amp; Tarini. The temple is sitauted at the top of the hill which is surrounded by the sacred Rushikulya River. To reach to the temple you need to climb 999 steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bhairavi Temple (18 km)<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Bhairavi Temple is about 18 Km from the Berhampur and located at the remote village Mantridi. This temple is considered as the one of the sahkti pitha. This temple is dedicated to the Goddess Bhairabi. Along with Bhairvai temple there are 108 small temples can be seen in the temple compound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Panchama (13KM) &#8211;<\/strong>&nbsp;Panchama is a village which is located about 15KM from the berhampur city. This place is famous for Ganesh temple. Here Lord Ganesh is worshipped in the groove of a large Peepal tree for ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pati Sonepur Beach (20KM) &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>Pati Sonepur Beach is 20Km from the Berhampur city situated in Orissa- Andhra Pardesh border on the point of convergence of the Bay of Bengal and River Bahuda. This beach is famous for its virginity, colorful water and loneliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ujjaleswar (45KM) &#8211;<\/strong>&nbsp;Ujjaleswar is around 45 Km from the Berhapur near Ghodahada Dam. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and made up of a cave temple situated on the top of a hill.
