This is a homogeneous earth fill dam constructed across river Kalijodi nalla of Brahmani Basin and located at near village Buhelipal in the district of Dhenkanal. The dam was completed in the year 1973. Length and height of dam are 306.00m and 16.15m respectively. Gross storage capacity at FRL is 1.20 Mm3. Catchment area is 13 km2. The inflow design flood based on Dicken\u2019s formula is 133.22 m3\/sec. The Khariff Ayacut is 406.50 ha and Rabi Ayacut is 406.50 ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
