The water falls from a height of 350 ft and tumbles down a sharp edged mountain. A cave is situated half way down the waterfall, which can be easily reached by a dusty path. A small waterfall called Nangrya is situated beside the main waterfall.Pandavgad, situated near Wai is easily identified due to its peculiar structure. The mountain on which the fort is built looks as if it is crowned by rocky surface. It is very near to Wai village and is situated on the Wai &#8211; Maandhardev route. As per a copper plate inscription of 1191-1192, Shilahar King Bhoj-II built the fort. This fort was formerly under the rule of Adilshahi. On 7th Oct 1673, the Marathas won the fort and included it in Swarajya. But in 1701 Aurangjeb captured the fort. This fort was took back again by Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj. They were constructed by the King Bhoj-II of the Shilahar dynasty during 1178-1207AD.Though this region is covered by sugarcane fields all around along with the still waters of Dhom dam, we hope that Mother Nature showers her rainfall blessings on us!<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>Devils Kitchen:<\/strong>&nbsp;a series of natural caves believed to be the place where the Pandavas cooked food en tour to the exile.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>Mapro Jam factory:<\/strong>&nbsp;where in one can pluck the strawberries from the farms and see the entire process of Jam\/Jelly\/Syrup making \u2013 a very popular place where in one can pig out on sweets!<\/li><li>While in&nbsp;<strong>Panchgani<\/strong>, hike across to the Rajpuri caves in the temple of Swami Kartikeya or to Kamalgad Fort. A trip to Panchgani is complete only after a visit to the famous Pratapgad Fort, 24 km from Mahabaleshwar. The fort, built in 1656 by Shivaji, witnessed the momentous confrontation between the Maratha rebel and Afzal Khan. Nearby are the temple of Goddess Bhavani and the dargah of Afzal Khan.<\/li><li><strong>Sydney Point<\/strong>:Located on a small hillock overlooking the Krishna Valley, the point offers breathtaking views of the valley, the effervescent waters of Dhom Dam, and Pandavgad caves and Mandhardeo.<\/li><li><strong>Parsi Point:<\/strong>This spectacular spot is located on the road to Mahabaleshwar and offers dizzying views of the Krishna Valley, the meandering Krishna River, and the Dhom Dam waters.<\/li><li><strong>Dhom Dam:<\/strong>Just 21 km from Panchgani is the center of tourist activity today with its water sports and boating facilities.
