Rahuri, District- Ahmednagar in 1971, situated at 35 km. from Ahmednagar.The biggest Dam in Ahmednagar city. It is named as &#8220;Dnyaneshwarsagar Dam&#8221; Dam is constructed on the river &#8216;Mula&#8217;. The storage Capacity of Dam is 26 TMC.Drinking Water to Ahmednagar City comes through this Dam. The Command area of this dam is Rahuri, Newasa, Shevgaon &amp; Pathardi taluka of Ahmednagar District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is very near to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidhyapeeth. But due to the problem of deep foundation &amp; river diversion, the place of the dam was changed downwards to Baregaon Nandur, Taluka &#8211; Rahuri.
