One can also visit Anjanwale fort, which is also known as Gopalgadh, located at the top of the mountain and the Parashuram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rajiwada Bunder<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; It is at Bhatye. The Bhatye beach is very clean &amp; beautiful. there is also a Coconut Reserch Centre of Konkan Krishi Vidhyapith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nature&#8217;s Miracle:<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; When we visit the seashore of Ratnagiri, we witness a miracle of nature. The coastline area surrounded by Mandavi Port in the city has black sand &amp; the nearby located area of Bhagvati fort has white sand so the sea here is named as Black &amp; White Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vithhal Rakhumai Mandir&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; Intially this temple was built by shri Shankardas Gujar, then it was renovated by his grandson Shri Bhikudas Laxmanrao Gujar.Patitpawan Temple<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shri Maruti Mandir<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; It is situated at heart of the city. This temple was built during the period of Shri Shivaji Maharaj<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nivali waterfall:<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; One the way from Sangameshwar to Ratnagiri after crossing the Bav river we approach the Nivali ghat. While crossing this ghat we sea the beautiful waterfall. It now houses the Ratnagiri Sub-center of the Mumbai University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ratnadurg Fort and Bhagwati Mandir<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The Ratnadurg fort is located on the sea shore of Ratnagiri. It spreads across an area of about 120 acres. The fort is surrounded by sea. Inside the fort, there is a temple called the &#8220;Bhagwati Mandir&#8221;.
