It is situated on the shores of Arabian Sea in Juhu suburb.There are three main entrances to the beach. One is from the Vile Parle side, another is from the Santacruz side and the third one is from the Andheri side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many tourists make it a point to visit the beach when they come to Mumbai, as it is a relatively uncrowded free space in the city, although it does get crowded in the evenings and weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is famous for its Mumbai street food, notably bhelpuri, pani puri, chaats, and of course pav bhaji. Due to the nature of the food stands hygiene standards are often low. On the southern end of Juhu beach there are many luxury hotels and apartments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juhu is the best place to bring the entire community (Mumbaikars &#8211; residents of Mumbai) on common social grounds and much interaction takes place amidst the natural ambience provided by the beach. Children, adults and aged, locals and tourists all make up the population that inhibits the beach especially on weekends. Swimming and sun bathing however is a bad idea in Juhu. On weekends the variety show is for real; there are horse rides, acrobats and other performers, there are kulfi and bhelpuri stalls and without doubts a large crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main attraction of Juhu beach is Sunset. He planned to develop 1200 acres (5 km\u00b2) in Juhu Tara. This was to yield 500 plots of one acre (4,000 m\u00b2) each and a seaside resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Mahatma Gandhi used to practice in the Bombay high court in the late 1800s and early 1900s, he used to live there. A popular sea front, Marine Drive is also the main thoroughfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Essel World:&nbsp;<\/strong>An excellent place to get entertained, Essel World, offers over 40 exciting rides, games, and attractions. The Water Kingdom is said to be the largest of its kind in Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bollywood &#8211;<\/strong>&nbsp;The Film City or &#8220;Bollywood&#8221;- as it is called produces the second most number of pictures in the world every year. Visiting a movie studio to watch a movie being shot in India&#8217;s commercial film capital is an experience worth attempting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kamla Nehru Park &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>located at the top of Malabar Hills, Kamla Nehru Park is the park also provides you a spectacular view of the city and the sunset.<br>Chowpatty &#8211; Situated in the suburbs of the city, and known for its festive atmosphere, food stalls and hustle and bustle, Chowpatty is perhaps the most famous beach of Mumbai. This beach encapsulates the spirit of Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aarey Milk Colony &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>located at a distance of 32 kilometers from main Mumbai city, Aarey Milk colony of Mumbai is one of the most modern milk colonies in the world. You can also try the fresh milk and snacks in the colony&#8217;s canteen here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jain Temple &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>located on the Malabar Hill, the Jain temple houses frescoes depicting various events in the lives of the 24 Jain Tirthankaras.
