About Ushakothi Wildlife Sanctuary:
Ushakothi Sanctuary is one of the most attractive and popular for tourist attractions. This sanctuary is near Ushakothi, due to which his name was Ushakothi wild Sanctuary. The Urhakothi Wildlife Sanctuary is also known as Badrama Sanctuary. This sanctuary is 45 km east of Sambalpur city and 200 kilometers from Rourkela. This sanctuary spreads in 130 sq. km area and is in small reservoirs of Odisha. There are about 15 tigers and 35 elephants in the sanctuary. The Hirakud Dam situated in the west of this sanctuary is very popular.

History of Ushakothi Wildlife Sanctuary:
The Urhakothi Wildlife Sanctuary is also known as Badram Sanctuary. It is located in north-east of Sambalpur district of Odisha. It was set up in 130 square km area in 1962. The Sanctuary also supports activities of ecotourism and is primarily a real paradise for the upliftment of tribal head, Ushkothi nature, many authentic accused of animals and plants.

Pradhanpat: Pradhanpat Falls and Sambalpur of the distance between is 100 Kilometers. Waterfall is a very beautiful waterfall which is surrounded by some rare scenes of nature. It is one of Orissa’s most beautiful waterfalls.
Chipilima powerhouse: Chilima is a combination of Hirakud Dam and Huma Temple. This place is also known as Ghanteshwari. It is located approximately 37 kilometers away. This is an ideal place for a picnic.
Huma temple : Huma Temple is located in Odisha, about 23 km away from Sambalpur district. This temple is on the banks of Mahanadi River.
