About:
Kune falls is a breathtaking waterfall in the heart of lonavala khandala valley. It is a beautiful sight as one sees this waterfall after coming out of the last tunnel to enter lonavala while travelling from mumbai to pune. The waterfall is in 2 sections and each part is around 100 meters high. One has to to leave the mumbai pune expresway at the lonavala bypass and take the old mumbai pune highway for around 10 minutes. Kune missionary/church is a good landmark to reach the falls. It runs for many days long after the monsoon is over, majestic in its appearance, one can have bath in the water that flows through the valley.

Koraigad fort is about 35kms away from Lonavla. One of the lesser popular forts till recently, it has been in focus because it offers a view of the Sahara Amby Valley to wannabes. Thankfully not many of this variety have the stamina or inclination to clamber up. So this fort is actually a mini mountain range with walls and cannons set up all along the range. At the summit, it stretches for about 1 km from one end to the other, rocky in some places, green in others and complete with a few ponds in between.
Sai Mandir at Shirgaon
Shirgaon is popularly know as Prati-Shirdi among Sai devotees. Shirgaon is situated off old Bombay-Pune highway at Somatane Phata.
