From Yellapur, take the highway towards Hubballi (Hubli) and then turn left towards Ganesh Gudi immediately after the petrol bunk. An arch at the beginning of this road is a good landmark for the road to Sathodi Falls.Alternative Route:Take a bus up to Barballi, and from there it is trek of about 10 km.Go up to Dehalli – Kattige via Ganesh Gudi, wherein a kutcha road winds all the way to the falls. Bikes are also available for rent at Dehalli, which are a common means of transport in this region |

About 32km from Yellapur, several streams converge near Kallaramane Ghat, and plunge from a height of 15m to create the magnificient Sathodi Falls, locally known as the “Mini-Niagara of Uttara Kannada District”. From Yellapur, take the highway towards Hubballi (Hubli) and then turn left towards Ganesh Gudi immediately after the petrol bunk. An arch at the beginning of this road is a good landmark for the road to Sathodi Falls.The stream then flows into the backwaters of the Kodasalli Dam, into the Kali River.Locally known as the “mini-Niagara”,Sathodi Falls, in the midst of a dense forest adds to the stillness of the surroundings when it plummets down into a roaring cascade.
