Haridwar is situated in the state of Haridwar. Hardwar is performed at the Har-ki-Pauri Ghat, which was built in the 1st century by King Vikram. One of the first places to visit in Haridwar is the holy ghat of Har Ki Pauri – which means Lord Shiva’s steps – located on the banks of the Ganga River.
